Owner and General Contractor, Rick Bumgardner, gives personal attention to every project and is known for quality workmanship.  Rick has been in the construction field for almost three decades.  He holds an Unlimited Electrical License as well an Unlimited Building Contractor's License.  Before moving to Sneads Ferry in 2001, Rick and his wife, Linda lived in Boone, located in the northwest mountains of North Carolina.

For Rick and Linda, relocating to coastal North Carolina was a result of years talking and dreaming about building homes at or near the ocean. Rick and Peter Matz, Linda's father, originally from New Jersey, had been planning to start a construction company on Topsail Island together and in 2001, the timing became just right.  Rick brings a quality to the coastal construction community that is not often seen in General Contractors.  It consists of integrity, honesty, and excellent workmanship delivered in a timely matter.  Peter has been in business for over 40 years and he brings experience and vision to the Alliance team.

At Alliance, we believe our homes are not only a reflection of Rick's knowledge and standards but also of the sub-contractors we use.  We are proud that our reliable team of "subs" has been with us for years.  They share our commitment of being sure each Alliance home stands out among the rest.  The quality products and materials used have helped Alliance Construction earn a reputation for exceeding industry standards.
